Point is so awesome. When he pasted Muzzin to the boards to free the puck and went right to the front to setup a slam dunk goal. Great player. Ridiculous bargain

Didn't get to watch the game, but I'm glad that Cooper finally put Cirelli on the first line powerplay

As Sam said, this game was junk food. It tasted good AF, but it's bad for you. This style of play will not win games in the playoffs. Nonetheless, it was fun to watch.

If Shattenkirk keeps this up, I might have to cut him some slack. It's only a handful of games, but he's looked like a bargain. I think him and James Neal got together in the off-season and did some kind of witchcraft.

Palat is back - granted, his goal was trash, but he's not slowing down and he has regained his Triplets-era form. This bodes well.

+1 for putting Cernak next to Hedman for a while. They looked solid.

+1 for Cirelli on the PP.

Can we just make clones of Cirelli and Point and put them on every line?
BINGO!

First period was god awful.
Second was alright.
Third was great.

I'd rather win games 1-0 than 7-3, to be honest, while keeping the shots against low.

That dominating whoop-ass the Canes put on us was a wakeup call.

As Brind'amour says, if somebody runs you over it's you're own fault. Even if you don't have the skill to stay in it, if you don't even compete that's entirely on you and if you don't treat it that way it'll keep happening.

Dominant game by the Bolts. Doesn't look like the Leafs will be much of a problem for them this season. Outmatched all over the ice.

I always liked Brind'amour as a player. And he definitely has Carolina playing the right way.

Anderson was suffering from the October curse and the new members of the D haven't gelled yet. Once Anderson dials in and the D tighten up, things will even out. I don't expect the next game to be lopsided.

Yes, that was god-awful. That's 3 hours of my life that I cannot get back.
